Philip Kingsley is a hair care brand known for its exclusive treatments of hair and scalp concerns, from alopecia to an itchy scalp. Founded by renowned Trichologist, Philip Kingsley, the brand has been built upon 60 years of expertise and specialist knowledge in hair growth and scalp care, with products ranging from hair thickening shampoo to hair supplements.
The Challenge
The Philip Kingsley marketing team were looking to bring to life a new product launch, 'Flaky/ Itchy' and create video content to help educate on the wider subject of itchy scalp concerns. One of the main challenges they faced was bringing emotion to an otherwise quite clinical subject.
The Solution
Our creative team developed a series of scripts to communicate the benefits of the new Philip Kingsley 'Itchy/ Flaky' range based on the results the products achieved. We cast three models, each with a different hair type, to feature in the films. All of the content was shot at our studios with sets styled to represent the Philip Kingsley brand colours and look and feel. Our post-production team developed a motion graphic aesthetic that tied each of the films together, communicated the benefits of the products all in the Philip Kingsley brand tone.
