The Role
You will be responsible for working hand in hand with the Creative, Design, and Edit team. Creating high-quality visual effects for film and video projects, and ensuring that all visual elements are seamlessly integrated into the final product. The successful candidate must have a keen eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.You will be based at our post production studio and facilities in Wapping, London. In this role there will be plenty of opportunity to develop creativit, judgement and the ability to collaborate within a team environment. You will be an integral part of every stage in the creative process, from conception to delivery - working closely with Editors, Creative Directors, Producers and Clients as well as collaborating with the rest of the edit team. This is a role for a creative individual with excellent aesthetic judgement, strong problem solving, ability to work within deadlines and willingness to collaborate within a team environment. You will be an integral part of every stage in the creative process, from conception to delivery.
In this role you will:
- Create highly engaging complex animations for a diverse array of media.
- Work closely with the Director, Producer, and other members of the post-production team to understand the creative vision, project scope and objectives.
- Use specialised software such as Cinema 4D, Blender, After Effects, and Photoshop, Fusion, Unreal to create visual effects that meet the project's requirements.
- Composite digital footage and elements to create complex visual effects shots that meet the Director's creative vision.
- Work with lighting and colour correction to create realistic and seamless final shots.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
- Provide accurate time estimates for each part of the process.
- Troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to compositing and rendering.
- Assist in selecting appropriate graphic and animation styles for the project.
- Work closely with the team to integrate 3D elements into 2D plates, and ensure consistency across all shots.
- Continuously improve and update technical skills to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Such as Unreal
- Ensure that all VFX shots meet the highest quality standards, and are delivered on time and within budget.
Essential Skills:
- Strong knowledge of compositing software such as Fusion/Nuke, Blender, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- Experience working with 3D software such as Blender,Maya, 3DS Max, or Cinema 4D.
- Excellent understanding of color theory, lighting, and camera techniques.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in visual effects compositing for film or video.
- Bachelor's degree in, 3D, Motion Graphics, Film, Art, or related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-end digital skills
