The producer is responsible for managing projects from beginning to end. Working with the HoP and other Preen producers. You will oversee post production jobs, assist producers with their projects and go on to produce shoots.
Role responsibilities
- Main Point of contact to client throughout a project
- Quoting and pitching of new work (with support from HoP and Creative Director)
- Project management - inc. scheduling, cost control, crewing, booking kit, casting and locations
- In charge of crew conduct and safety
on set
- Responsible for keeping projects on time and budget
- Work closely with all crew members to ensure they are executing the clients brief to the highest standard
- Work closely with our post production team to shape and create the best possible work
- Help identify and broaden the crew talent that we work with
- Ultimately responsible for the quality of the final work
- Expected to examine, suggest and improve upon our production processes
- Should help identify and broaden the crew talent that we work with
- Expected to help support and impart knowledge on other members of the team
- Should have in depth knowledge of production rules, regulations and laws (working with children, location permits and advertising laws)
Role requirements- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule and control productions, applying creative and strategic thinking. With project management skills to satisfy production requirements, brief and budget.
- Ability to manage creative-driven projects with tight budgets, fixed timelines to a high standard.
- A problem solver who works well under pressure and an ability to troubleshoot while managing multiple projects.
- Enthusiasm for learning and developing while working with creative talent, partners and clients.
- A passion for content creation and the creative industries.
- The ideal candidate will be determined, outgoing, positive, articulate and diplomatic.
- IT literate, with knowledge and experience of CRM systems would be an advantage.
