The Client
Hillarys is a manufacturer and retailer of made-to-measure window blinds, window shutters, curtains, and awnings. It sells via a network of approximately 1200 self-employed advisors across Great Britain and Ireland.
The Brief
The creative team at Hillarys' advertising agency developed a series of scripts around the sentiment ‘Don’t just like, love’ and needed a production company and director to help them create ‘something memorable and special using split rooms’.
The Solution
The execution of the 'split room' creative was the biggest challenge of the piece and our Director ensured that a series of techniques including colour grade, graphics and lighting were implemented to tell the story of 'Don't just like, love'. We built 6 different home sets in one studio including a bathroom, kitchen, lounge and child's bedroom each showcasing a set of beautifully crafted Hillarys Blinds. Our Art Director was an interior specialist and worked closely with the design team at Hillarys to ensure the blinds looked impeccable on camera. Our Casting Director was briefed to ensure a diverse cast was selected and created a truly representative ensemble of characters. We produced a series of different versions for various seasons including a beautifully lush Christmas tree edit for the holiday season.
