ASOS - Constantly Connected

The Client

ASOS is a British online fashion and cosmetic retailer. The company was founded in 2000 in London, primarily aimed at young adults. The website sells over 850 brands as well as its own range of clothing and accessories, and ships to all 196 countries.

The Brief

To create a film for the ASOS AGM to communicate with their internal stakeholders and employees the ASOS online presence. The various points in which customers can connect with the brand across social channels and their website. ​

The Solution

Casting a diverse group of talent was one of the key aspects of production. A cast of 9 models who could also deliver the performances we needed took multiple casting sessions to find the perfect mix of talent. We created a series of motion graphics that communicated the screens and platforms on which the ASOS customer could connect with the brand, as well as graphics that gave each scene a sense of place. The content was aimed at a global audience so we placed the models It was essential that the content was clear and informative without being too dry and to ensure it had a recognisably ASOS aesthetic. As well as through the casting this also was shown through the camera style and colour grade, a handheld, yet polished look and feel. The modern music track brought the piece to life and help make the content really engaging as well as informative. ​​
